VISUAL JOURNAL

Visual Journals are a creative way to express and record life's experiences, feelings, emotional reactions, or our inner world - visually and verbally. Essentially, visual journaling can become a potential key to any artmaking process.

VISUAL JOURNAL VIDEO

In your spare time, please watch the video above. Visual Journals can be a fun way of how to express your emotions. Visual Journals also help aid in creating final projects. This is where you write down all your creative ideas. Sketchbooks don't just include drawings. They include words, ideas, or maybe a quote you heard earlier that day.

JOURNAL PROMPT 1

Setting Up for Success- Prompt One

Sometimes it’s hard to understand how to start your visual journal.  AND/OR just hard to find a place to start.  Your first prompt will be to set up your journal for success.

  1. Using the magazines in the journal area cut out various words and things that interest you that you can use later for pages and assignments.

  2. Water color 5 different pages to use later as backgrounds for pages.
